Cape San Blas

Flat tire emergency
Every August Doe-Bob and our friends meet at Cape San Blas, Florida.  This year was we stayed at the State Park "St. Joseph" and they stayed at the Cape San Blas Inn.   They are "Needy girls" and wanted some luxury, such as a, tv, hot tub and gourmet breakfast's.  We had one moment of calamity when the SUV tire went flat, and I won't mention that there was no spare tire.  The mosquitos were fierce and it was raining like it would never end.  Before long the car started to fog up due to the hysterical laughter and unsuccessful calls out (cell phone service isn't the best) but never fear I jumped out with the Flat Fixit and tried to fix the flat.  Long story short Terri got a call out and got road side service and the Inn Keeper came and took some of us back  to the inn while the others were towed back into Port St. Joe and got a tire.  6 hours later all was right in the world of tires and our little band of travelers was reunited.  After all that excitement, the next few days were spent at Applachicola, eating, and having fun.  We are planning this years jaunt and I will definitely make sure we are road ready!
